All activities and worship experiences are geared for this special age-level to make camp something they want to do again and again.

Growin' In Grace ELEMENTARY CAMP
July 11-13 — For children entering Grades 3-5 at Camp Egan; Are your kids ready for some fun in the sun? Well, help them grab some friends, throw a swim suit in a bag, and let’s go to camp! Over three days and two nights campers will experience the best nature has to offer in one of our three camp sites – an awesome red rock canyon, a placid lakeside point, or a serene tree-studded valley. In addition to the traditional hikes, swimming, and crafts of camp, campers will experience interactive learning sessions and participative worship. During this camp, in cabins and small groups, kids are encouraged to start building relationships with adults and children from other churches that will last through adolescence – so get ready for some new friends as well as a good time! NOTE: Some camps may need additional staff (especially men) to provide adequate supervision and meet adult-to-camper ratios, so please think about who might be available to come to camp with your children.

Joy Camp
July 13-15, 2007 — For those entering Grades 3-5 at Camp Egan; The JOYful noise of music, the enJOYment of active learning, expressions of JOY on children’s faces – these are the JOYs of JOY Camp! If your kids have a real creative streak and a desire to try out new things, this may be the summer camp they need to attend. In this model of camp, campers choose creative arts and movement classes they want to attend. Although choices vary from camp to camp, they all focus on ways the church uses the arts in worship – vocal music, instrumental music, drama, the written word, dance/movement, visual art, verbal expression, etc. The campers’ experience culminates in a closing worship where they help lead worship with some of the new skills they learned.
